collar sizes

Has anyone ever seen a Coach collar? I've seen them on eBay & OMG I want to get one for Romie SO bad! They seem to be a lot cheaper on eBay than anywhere else.

I've had the same problem with sizes though- I just have those tiny, cheap, adjustable one from Wal-Mart for Romie b/c I'm afraid to buy her one that won't fit. I bought her a harness last weekend & figured surely a Medium would fit a 4 month old puppy, but I guess she is too busty b/c it wouldn't fit....like mother, like daughter I guess!! HAHAHA I guess maybe I'll have to take her to PetSmart with me & try a few on!

I've seen the COACH collars at the Coach outlet. They are VERY nice! I wanted to get one for Otis but there were none in his size. Even the large ran small (I don't remember the sizing). AND they were in the clearance table at $36-$38. Still pricy but then I was looking for a nice leather collar for him anyway.


For those that have multiple collars, do you keep duplicate sets of tags (dog license, rabies tag, etc....) for each collar??? Here in our town, dogs HAVE to have their tags on them out on the street. So, Otis and Sasha have just one nice collar but wear it all the time b/c they only have one set of tags.

I forgot to add....both collars for Otis and Sasha are 22". DH drilled one extra hole when we first got the leather collar but now Otis is up a notch.

We've been up to 6 at one time, and as he out grows them they get handed down to friends or family. I think right now he has 2 he can wear alright. We are up to a 22" leather buckle that he wears 99% of the time the other is for when he's in the yard or in water. He has tags on both, just because I guess.

I keep all 3 of her tags on one hoop and just switch that to whatever collar I'm in the mood for. Can you get copies of the rabies tags and city licences? That would be easier to have multiple copies of tags.

The price on the coach collar is much less than I expected it to be, the one swarovski collar I was eyeing is in the 3 digit figure! I know, probably a waste of money and rediculous but I LOVE anything that glitters.

Last night I found so much cute dog stuff, some really great shirts for dogs & owners, is it okay to post the links? I think I caused some trouble when I posted a link to a photo so I want to make sure it is okay to post links to products- I found some really cool stuff!

Again, check eBay - maybe they have a knock-off Swarzki (?) or something close to it. At least that way if she lost it or chewed it up you wouldn't be out too much money!

so, I've never been a huge fan of Coach purses, mainly because I won't spend that kind of money on a purse, I'm to hard on them BUT, you may have me hooked on the collars! DARN you!
I have a couple in my ebay watch, I really like the color block one for next summer now I will have to find a leash to match on ebay also.

Thank you for the heads up on the Coach collar, I do like them. Do all the Coach stores sell them? The thought of Coach making dog collars never crossed my mind, I'll need to see if Burberry does- I think that's the name.

I've heard that they sell them at the Coach "exclusive" stores, but I've never seen them in the department stores around here. I LOVE the coach purses, but like you won't pay that much....my parents have bought my last two for me as presents. The leather is so high quality they wear really, really well!!

As far as Burberry - they've got TONS of dog stuff (clothes, carriers, etc!). If you make sure that the Seller that you are buying from has really good feedback, you are sure to not get ripped off. You can look through & read what other buyers have said about them before bidding - I'm an eBay junkie & so far (fingers-crossed), I haven't been taken on anything. Have fun & good luck!!
