Bubba has all the symptoms for a slipped disc. His back legs don't work, and he whines when i touch him or his back gets twisted. Are there special "Pet" chiropractors, and if so how do i go about finding one? I thought i was just joking when i told my boyfriend that is what i thought bubba needed. I didn't think they really existed. Are they really expensive? ANy info would help me tons. Thanks

First of all I'm moving this thread to the Boxer Health Forums.

O.K.....well I've just answered your questions about growing pains in the Boxer Health Forums. First, you thought Bubba had Panosteitis (growing pains) now you think he has a slipped disc.
Whatever Bubba has you have to have a Vet diagnose it before looking for remedies.
You have to remember Bubba is only 4 months old, it is not normal for a 16 week old puppy to be in as much pain as you described in your previous thread.
Please have him re-examined at your vets & if you are not happy with your vets diagnoses get a second opinion.
If in fact your vet does decide that Bubba would benefit from a visit or 2 to a chiropractor I'm sure he will point you in the right direction.

I'm new to the world of boxers, so I'm not going to sit here acting like I know everything there is to know about them. However, I will that if at any time you feel that there's something wrong with your pup, especialy if obvious pain is involved, you should definitely contact your vet ASAP!!! Like Matt S. said, if you're unsure or uncomfortable with your current vet. Get a new one.

Sorry, I'm not much help in this situation!! Good luck and keep us updated!!! :)

I am just making sure i can get as much info on everything so when i do find out what it is i know what to do. i read that info you sent me before and after reading it i think all it is is pano. he has all the symptoms. he is going to the vet tom, again, and the first time he was there for this was last week. the doctor didn't think it was serious because bubba was so happy. i really appreciate the info you gave me and i will let you know what is going on.
