Dawn's 7yr old rescue..GIRL..had been diagnosed with a heart condition, Premature Ventricular Contraction. She is doing fine as it was caught early, but now has have surgery thursday to remove a lump on her foot. Dawn has not had much time to be on here so I though I would let everyone know. I know she is worried about Girl being under anesthesia.:(
Dawn,
I will start it out by saying I will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers that surgery goes well and sending lots of boxer slobbers from our "Pack" and healing vibes from all of us. All paws and fingers are crossed.

Hey guys....

Thanks for all of your prayers and good wishes for my little "Girl"!!:) It is greatly appreciated! I will let you know how she is doing on Thursday evening when I bring her home. I am sure she will be fine. I have great faith in our Vet and in "Girl". She's a tough little chick;)

Thanks again, and I will keep you updated.

:D :D :D

Yaaaaaaaah, "Girl" is home and did excellent today with her surgery!!!!! :) She had two lumps removed (one I found while we were waiting in the car at the Vet's office this morning). Our Vet followed the instructions from Ohio State and he was very, very pleased with the results. He said that her heart returned to a "normal" heart beat during surgery because of the recommended usage of medicine (before and during surgery) of Ohio State.

We will now have to wait for the results of the lump test. If you wouldn't mind having all of your boxers/pets cross their paws and hope for the best!! Your prayers would be greatly appreciated too!!

You guys have been so very, very supportive :D and I can't tell you how much it means to me and "Girl".

Now, if you have any suggestions for stopping "Girl" from licking her incisions... she was doing great until about a half hour ago. I think I will have to get an E-Collar tomorrow.

Thanks again,
Dawn Chief IV, "Girl" and Tex:) :D
