I posted a couple of days ago saying that we had met another Boxer...well yesterday we saw them again. He asked what we were feeding Asia and we asked the same.

He told us that Josie (his girls name) eats 'Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers' Soul' - I am familiar with the books, but not the food! I had NO idea they even had a brand of food! He said Josie loves it and its 100% healthy!

Have you heard anything about it, it is REALLY good for dogs (worth switching foods)? There is a link below!

Riley eats Chicken Soup adult (I switched her over from puppy a few weeks ago) and she loves it! Gobbles it up in like 2 minutes! When I switched from Purina One about 4 months ago I noticed changes in her health...less eye boogies and a nicer coat. The CS works for us because Riley loves it and the price is pretty good (I shopped around and it is less expensive than some of the other premium kibble varieties). I pay about $32 for a 35 lb bag (or vice versa) and it lasts us about 3-4 weeks.

Thank goodness for Chicken Soup !!! Dozer is allergic to what seems to be just about everything so we have tried just about everything !! After reading here all the rave reviews, I tried it on our gang. Pooh is a seriously picky eater-she loves it and has never once turned her nose up at it. Cissy is the same.Bownser begs for his meals and Dozer has never looked better. Within the first week he was on it,the redness in his ears was gone, no more hives around his neck. The shedding is almost nill and all their coats just shine like they have a fresh coat of polish !! The cleanup is alot less too!! Which is a major factor with 4  I love the stuff and I love that my babies love it

Both Joe and Scampy are on CS and they LOVE it. We have been very pleased with it. And I'm glad that you ran into your Boxer friend again!

I feed Cortes the adult version and he loves it. Its very healthy and quite a bit cheaper than a lot of the other premium kibbles. The only problem I've had is it is sometimes difficult to find.

Me too. The store where I buy it, often doesn't have the adult kind, or else they put other bags of puppy and senior food on top of the adult food so I can't get it. I've just started getting other brands that are always in stock.

Thanks for the helpful replies! There is some feed store over by where we pay our cable bill (we kind of know where it is) where he says he gets it from. He says that they have never had a problem finding it because that store always carries it or something of the sort! :)

I think after we get done with this bag, we will slowly switch her over to that food and see how it works! She loves to try anything new and I've heard nothing but good results, so I'm thinking this may be our new food!

Thanks for your replies everyone, Asia thanks you especially!

We have been feeding it to Willis pretty much since we got him. It's kind of 50/50 for us... he is not really into eating, so he doesn't exactly race to the food dish (not sure if it's the food or a behavioural thing). And, he has really bad tear stains. On the plus side, his coat is beautiful and we get lots of compliments on how healthy he looks. I think we will try a different food next time and see how it goes.... but I can't say chicken soup is a bad food... the ingredients are wonderful and the price is pretty good for a premium food.

I just switched my two over to it and they just love it!!! They gobble it up right away. I found it at Pet Supplies Plus and the price isn't bad, $29.99 for a 35 pund bag.

I always thought they were doing good on their other food until I switched them over to CS, now they have much less eye boogies. I havent really noticed a change in their coats but they have always been pretty shiny.

Anyway, I'm glad I finally made the switch and I'm sure your baby will love it too.
