Some information on the beach
DATE: Saturday, September 13th
Rain DATE: Sunday, September 14th
TIME: 11:00 am
PLACE: Montrose Beach, Chicago
BRING: Do Not forget clean-up bags. They are not provided at this park.
This is not a fully-fenced area; however, it is extremly large and far away from any busy streets. My dogs are far from perfect and they have never wandered away from the area. It's too much fun with all of the other dogs and the water!! Also, it's below the regular ground level, so they cannot see anything but the beach! Also note, you CANNOT see the beach from the road!! So, when you're looking for the area, look for an area with a big steel wall (that used to be a boat launch). The doggie beach is just behind the wall!!

In my search for more info on this park/beach, I thought those attending might be interested in this article from the August 3, 2003 Chicago Tribune. It would be a shame to start the day out on a bad note. We are looking forward to meeting everyone next weekend as well.

can't attend
Well I was looking forward to attending until I just read that it is not fully fenced. That is why I was originally hoping that this would be held in Oakbrook at the dog park there as I have heard that it is fully fenced in. Have fun to all who attend, as I will not be able to out of fear Jackson may wonder.
