Hubby and I took the kiddos to see it last night (ages 3 and 6) and they both loved it. I really enjoyed it as well!

I was worried that it might be a bit much for my younger one but he was laughing the whole time and thought it was just great!!

We all piled in and went to the drive-in last Saturday night to see the movie. Overall, I liked this version. I pretty much like anything Johnny Depp is in. Both the kids stayed awake for the whole movie and it ended at 11pm so it kept their interest. I give it thumbs up.

I went to see this the other night and enjoyed it. It isn't the same as the original and I think that was nice since it gave this version it's own flair. I LOVED the original as a child and pretty much know the movie word-for-word. Overall it was a good movie.

I have had a major crush on Johnny Depp ever since he was played the cop on 21 Jump Street. Anyone remember that show. He costarred with Dom Delouise's son?

Anyway I have seen most of his movies and I love them all. But then I AM A LITTLE WARPED also. Loved What's eating Gilbert Grape, Edward Scissorhands, Bennie and June, And Pirates of the Carribean, and looking forward to the sequels.

Have not seen Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yet but plan on taking the kids tomorrow.

Anyway Love that Johnny Depp............

I remember that show=) I used to love that show! Wow the 80s... Peter Deluise was the guy with him. He now either directs or produces (can't remember offhand) on Stargate SG-1, or rather did for several seasons, haven't watched this year's yet they are on my DVR.

Taking the kids to see this tonight. Sounds like fun!

Speaking of Johnny Depp I watched a movie of his today, Cry Baby. Has anyone else seen this movie? It had no point what so ever but he did look good.

We loved it!

My family & I loved the new movie so much more than the original. The characters were better and it had a lot more of the creepiness than the original & followed the book so much more!

Yes Samsonite... I got thumped in the ear for saying "Good morning starshine, the earth says hello!" way too much! The line about cannibalism had me laughing out loud at the movies!

I am planning on taking my 6 yr old son to see it friday if the weather is bad here. I LOVED the original, we have it on video. I think the special effects should make be really cool too!
