Things have gone pretty good today so far. Both of them are off leash in the house together. They are in all of our rooms. Of course Duke being so old, likes to sleep, a lot--

! They are sleeping together on the ortho beds as I type. I think this helps keep her calm in the house somewhat. She follows him and seems to imitate him somewhat. She still plays like a puppy though but isn't wild, yet anyway, in the house.
So I thought I would try off leash out in the backyard today. Anyway, she was running around outside like crazy (you know, boxer stuff) and she leapt into the air and went flying into Duke, hard. He let her know real fast that wasn't a good idea, no snapping or biting, but a very strong growl that he meant business. So she gingerly approached him and I think she knew what she did maybe wasn't a good idea. So I thought maybe I had better put her leash back on outside, which I did. So I am thinking maybe not quite ready for off leash outside in the backyard. I do let her out by herself too off leash to burn some of that boxer energy off. I just don't want Duke to think she is "prey" and I want to keep it as positive as I can. At least off leash in the house is going very good. I know I probably need to get her off leash with Duke for outside soon. What do you guys think??
