I don't want you to be left out so maybe i could give you my cell phone number or you could give me yours so you could know when things are wrapping up. So you would know whether or not to make the drive to Sanford. (FYI) its probably about a half hour from Lake Eola (I don't know if you are from around here).

Well, it looks like we won't be able to make the bash after all. My in-laws are coming down from Georgia on the 8th to stay for a while. I'm not sure for how long but they will definitely be here on the 9th. I do hope that someone posts pictures of the bash so I can see them!

Also, someone asked how far Sanford is from Port St Lucie - it's about 2 hours north of PSL taking I-95. Not a bad ride, really.

I'll be thinking of you all on the 9th! Have fun and please take pics!!

It was fun (for those who came)

Well, we had a good time even though most of the board members didn't make it. My little girl was too afraid to play with the big boxers so she got attention from the people. We took her in the small dog area (under 30lbs she's 28) and she kick a jack russel's bootie!

Blaze and Minx were very cute and very active running around with the other park dogs. They both were dirty as can be by the time I left.

We got to see some very sweet pics of Kathleen's baby.

There were a few people that frequent the park that had boxers there. Apparently they go every Saturday, so we are planning to take Roxy back maybe she will liven up after a few more visits.

I hope we can plan something else in the future on a date that more people and dogs can make it.

I have posted pics under another thread in this forum, check them out! My Minx and Blaze slept the whole way home and their first stop was the tub when we got there. We all had fun, BW members and the non-members too! Can't wait to do it again!
Maybe we could meet in New Smyrna Beach or at the light house park in Ponce Inlet, they are both dog friendly beaches!

I'm there next time! Sorry I couldn't make it this time. I'd been waiting for Paws in the Park since last May! Figures they hit on the same weekend!! I'd love to meet at the beach. That would be a ball. How was the Paws Park? Was it really crowded? All the dogs seem to get along ok?

The park was nice, all fenced in so there wasn't much worry about your baby getting loose. All the dogs seemed to get along fine. There was a couple initial little spats, but they were worked out quickly and everyone played very good together! Little Roxy, bless her heart, was a little overwhelmed by the whole ordeal and stuck pretty close to mom and dad, but towards the end she started to get a little braver. Minx didn't wander too far from me, but Blaze he has no fear and I had to look for him a couple times. He was all the way on the other side of the park playing. Hope everyone can make the next one, we should try to get together every month or so, the furkids enjoy it so much and I enjoy watching Boxers play with each other!

I would love to make it a regular thing too. I can watch mine play all day. We are "babysitting" my friend's 8 mo. and 6mo. old boxers from tonight until Saturday night. That mean FOUR at my house from age 2 to 6 months..
Crazy at my house for the next 2 days!! Wish me luck. In fact, I'm trying to get her to bring hers to a bash too but she works weekends, so it's hard. Let's keep in touch and plan another one soon!

sounds like you're in for a treat Kelli I have a hard enough time with my 3 - and to think I was contemplating adding another one still might if she doesn't get adopted soon
