Caspers allergy test results

We got the results back today, have got to go back to discuss how to go about them, immunotherapy being one option.

OMG! How interesting. I guess I never quite thought about the fact that dogs could be allergic to the same things we are. Even though you haven't been given the next step - obviously a diet change is part of your future but are these things that medication will also be able to help?

Oh dear it's a bit of a long list! I see he's allergic to some of the same stuff as our Dino. We've being doing the immunotherapy injections for about a year and they have helped him - not a cure but an improvement.

That is interesting--I know I just switched foods and a lot of the good ones had tomato in them. Does this report help you understand Casper's significant reaction last week, though? Most of these things wouldn't come about all of a sudden, unless they were in your new treats. Some of them seem really hard to avoid--dust mites, tobacco smoke, and ragweed are everywhere!

I know it looks scary, but that really isn't all that bad.
Casper will probably do well with the allergens

Napoleon's allergy results were 2 pages and well over half of it was positive.
So, believe me, it could be much worse.

It was Lola that had the severe reaction last week

Going back to the vets on Thursday, he's got Lola some tabs for her ear infection and said to bring Casper as he's had a flair up (armpits are so sore and horribly dark reddy brown :() Going to discuss this immunotherapy for him.

One of Finn's allergies is Cladosporium. Its the first time I have heard of it in another boxer. Thankfully its a seasonal one that usually only lasts from now til
