OMG! I never laughed so hard! I'm sorry that it must have been terribly scarey for your daughter and you both, but I am sure when she is old telling that story it will get a good chuckle! I'm also glad the neighbors weren't a pain about your solution! What a delicious ending!

Everyone always talks about getting a big ol mean guard dog, I say get a goose, those are the meanest things I've ever seen! Our neighbor had one on his property for a long time while he was building his house and my dog was scared to death of that thing! And it never failed to chase my dog every time we walked by!

I agree crazy old goose...sorry for laughing but this story was a good one, thanks for the smile

The geese on the land where my husband works chases him all of the time! I think my Gracie would do the same if my kids were attacked. Hope all heals well and they both are not traumatized!

Oh you bet he got some goose for dinner! (I also showed him the dead goose and as a joke told him that's what happens to things that bite children.) All of the adults had been bitten by that goose. It sure does hurt! Me... well I took my shoes off and beat it about the head with them when it came after me. Poor little DD was only wearing house slippers she got for Christmas. She was trying to smack it's head and neck but... to no avail. Thank Goodness for CAPONE!!

I had the whole story visualized. I grew up on a farm and we had a mean old goose too. I bet Capone was proud when he saw the dead goose. This story is too funny. Glad it had a happy ending. Hope your neighbors were invited for some of their "cooked goose". LMAO.

Sorry but I've been laughing since I read the first post, and it got better from there. Sounded like that goose was nothing but a problem though. Way to go Capone sticking up for your sister like that. Hope daughter and boxer are both doing better now, I have a feeling the roasted goose for supper helped cure all though.

Actually, they roasted the goose and brought it to my house to have dinner with us! LOL
