Can someone help me find out what this is?

I have a boxer, flashy fawn about 10 months old name thunder. Aka The King of Thunder.
One day my dad showed me this thing behind his left ear that appeared to look like a pimple.
We have no clue what it is.
its about a half a dime in size around.
it was pinkish and now appears as like a reddish color.

Can someone please help me?
I'm scared if it's cancer or something. please help me. :D
Has your dog had something like this?

The only way you'll really know what the "pimple" is, is to have your vet check it out. With Boxers so inclined to get cancer, I would have any suspicious lumps, bumps, etc looked at by my vet. I hope it's nothing serious and send healing and positive vibes to your Thunder. Please keep us posted.

Yes, we are going to take him to the vet. I think it's getting smaller though, so i don't think really a hole lot that serious. We've been cleaning it with peroxide and it's not that big anymore. Thank you.!
one of my friends has a boxer named storm and storm gets something like that from running into the fence.
So that might be it.
We are going to take him to the vet though. (((((((:)

So sorry about your scare with thunder! It's a good sign that it seems to be getting smaller...please let us know how you make out!!
