Call me nuts but Atlas said mama while he was woo wooing

I believe you because Lola says this all the time. When she is begging for a treat I swear she says "awwwwmama"!!!!

My moms girl, Sheba, who is also Xena's sister, says the exact same thing when she is "demanding" a treat! Usually my mom and I are talking on the phone when Sheba starts vocalizing. Then she says it..."awwwwmama"! It's hilarious!
Xena NEVER "speaks", hardly barks, and only woo-woo's when we blow party horns. :rolleyes:
Spirit often makes "chewbacca" sounds, and what I like to call REALLY loud meows!

I am a believer, too. Oscar always woo-woos when he wants to go on a walk, and I swear I have heard him say "woooaaalllllaaaaaaoook"

I believe also. one day samson was wooing and I kept saying mama in that scooby voice. dh and I were sitting there and dh said if he say mama I will freak. well he did it. dh was so excited that when the girls came home he was telling them the story. I can still get samson to say mama when he woos

Sammi does this all the time! When she starts wooing, I start saying "ma-ma" over and over and then she'll do it herself. Drives my MIL nuts because we're always comparing the neat things our dogs do (she has a poodle and a shitsu (? sorry for the spelling...) and she can't get her non-Boxers to woo-woo, let alone say Mama!!! All in fun...gotta love 'em.

I believe you! It sounds like Coco is saying mama sometimes too when she woo's. It could be me but it does sound like it Our trainer is the first one who noticed it. She was sassing me because she didn't want to sit/stay for as long as I was making her and she started doing it. She'd start wooing and then went right into mamamamama. I felt like a million bucks...I'm so corny :D

I believe too!!! I haven't got Joe to say anything like that yet, actually he barely woos (because he always has a toy in his mouth!) but when I was a little girl, my boxer Ace used to say "Mom" too!!! I love it!!!

Leah used to have Mama woo's. She doesnt woo any more and I can't figure out how to get her to:-(
Any time we would put her on the enclosed porch as a puppy she would sit on the chair and cry woowoowoomama. My MIL heard it first and told me, I thought she was hearing things until we all heard it!!
