Hello, I am Cable's Mom, he is a tawny boxer with a big heart. I have been around boxers all of my life almost, as my mother used to breed them. I had a tawny female when I was 8 named Sugarfoot. I think they are amazing dogs, and I have yet to meet another dog with more personality. Sometimes I think Cable can understand what I am thinking, when I am stressed, he follows me around, when I am happy, he gets excited. He came to my house just after I moved here, I was having my first dinner party, it was a rainy night, and he was knocking on my door, all of my friends freaked out because of his size, and they look aggressive. But when I saw it was a boxer I let him in. I know its not there nature to be aggressive to humans. I searched for his owner to no avail. He's been with me ever since, we moved to Germany for two years (which is where its thought they originated the breed) and he loved it, lots of running trails, no leash law, boxer country. I got his name from the book Edgar Sawtelle, he is an amazing dog, and the best running partner I have ever had. One of my friends introduced me to a guy who believes dogs reincarnate themselves and find their owners, he thinks Cable is a reincarnation of Sugarfoot. I don't know,, I just know having him brings me a lot of joy. I wanted to share this story, if you have a boxer you know how they can connect to your heart.
