Actually, Ariane hit it on the head. Bunnies usually do their business in the same corner of the cage. What you need to do is get a litter box, fill it with litter and then put some of their dropings in it. Then put the litter box in the corner they have been using. Mine trained themselves in just a few days. When we take them out to play, I always show them where their littler box is and they most always use it! Hope this helped.

sweetgirlie, too bad you don't live around here . my pup is so active, i walk him sometimes twice a day now.... long walks..... and i still think he wants more! i'm sure you will prolly find a grateful senior in your area who would welcome some help with their pets. or even just a very busy mother!

I have a netherlands dwarf. I've had her for 3 years now and she never learned to like dogs much. Harley moved in about a month ago when he was just 6 weeks and she doesn't like him much. I think it's probably because Harley likes to bark and chase after her. I guess that would do it!

I just love bunnies!! I had a lop for three years his name was floppers!! and bunzers, he was a dwarf and we had him for 10 years, he had his own room and the run of the house, had to watch our for those wires

omg.... i know exactly what u mean about wires. whenever we had the rabbits out running around the house to play we always had to keep a close eye on them. blizzard chewed into the phone cord one day......

Darn.. its too abd were not living in the same province uuh same city too ... yeah I'm sure i'll find sumone.. my problem is I'm a bit shy.. I found a nice guy with a BEAUTIFUL akita who used to own 5 boxers while living in japan.. he saw me training Bear <my aunts german shep... they come visit from banff> and asked me how i get him to listen like that.. i said I would help him if he would like.. and he said he would like that.. but i havnt seen him walking his dog on the same path since then :confused: .. i'll find sumone soon tho.. i just know it :D .. in Aug. I'll be going off to Banff and I'll be taking care of Bear for 3 weeks :D so i'm exited bout that.. he needs a lot of exercise and he's been raised to go on 3-4 walks a day each an hour long :rolleyes: so of course I do 4 walks an hour each and at least one of them has to involvle some running time. .. he's in wonderful shape.

I have a mini-lop bunny named Joey. He is such a sweetie! The only thing is everytime I hold him for too long he likes to pee on me. My old vet suggested I get him fixed so he will stopmarking me-whatever. I got him about 3 years ago so he is about 5 y/o. He has a huge attitude! If you don't give him his Oatmeal or frosted mini wheats everyday he will thump on the cage all night long! He is a brat! BTW: incase you don't know Oatmeal is like a treat for rabbits-give it to them dry-not cooked. I just by the store brand big container and keep it in the cubbard. Then, the frosted mini wheats (only one every other day) or they will get the poops (get the ones with sugar on one side & not the other). Joey is also litter trained, he used to be an indoor/outdoor bunny until his old family decided they wanted him outside all the time. (He is outside only now ( I couldn't handle all the peeing!) He only peed & pooped in one corner of his cage. So, I got a high backed corner litter box (like for ferrets) and put some All Pet Pine Litter (or feline pine litter) into it and he now goes in there. One thing though when I change his litter box I always put a little bit of the poop (just a few) into his new litter so he smells it or he will poop in front of it.:rolleyes: :confused:
Joey was used to a couple dogs when we got him so he is good with my dogs and the cat. He & the cat are buddies! He will attack the kitty and the kitty will launch an attack right back it is too funny!

Jamie...how funny! We hate it when we get peed on! We give our bunnies a pinch of oatmeal every morning and they just love it! We learned the hard way to put it on top of their pellets. When we didn't, they would dig in their bowls and spill the pellets out everywhere. They are just too funny. We also give them each a papaya tablet every morning too, to help with digestion. They love those too!

I have a lop also. This is my third bunnie. He's a rescue. A friend of a friend had him for about a year. She cared about him but didn't know how to care for him. When we saw Jay his toe nail were about 1 1/2" long and my husband said lets take him home now. We had Casey with us when we picked him up and took him home. He's is litter trained also. When we got home we let him out of the cage and Jay and Casey have been best friend since. We told her that's a baby and she can't hurt him. Casey was also from a rescue 2 years ago. Look in my picture gallery and you will see them together. Casey is very protective of her bunnie.
