Boxer Pal
Ok so my boy Cooper has been having these Bumps/Hives on the side of his body that he has had coming and going but this past week it seems they have gotten worse and not really gone away. Anywa I have talked to my Vet a couple times on this. They recommended that I bath him in a Oatmeal shampoo and keep him on Benadryl. So I've been doing that well Its been concering me more than probably him but he has also been scratching a little bit more. Well I talked to the vet yesterday they told me to keep doing what I'm doing and switch him from Benadryl to another Allergy medication called Chlortrimetron (spell??) and do that for 2 weeks. I also told them that I am in the process of switching foods. Currently I am feeding him Eukanuba puppy large breed......I know its a bad food but I am currently switching to Canidae. I also have some samples of Wellness and Solid Gold that the feed shop that I went to, to get the Canidae.
So I have no idea if the bumps were from food, grass, things that are in the air right now or what. I am confused and I just want my baby to get better. I was also wondering if its possible that the Canidae all life stages could have something in it that he may be alergic too .....for example the eukanuba was chicken based and the canidae all life stages has chicken, turkey, lamb and herring meal. The vet told me that I should just keep an eye on it until I have completely switched foods. I'm hoping part of it is the food and that its just something going on.
Here are a couple links to a few pictures of the bumps...sorry they pics are sorta small photobucket resized them.....Thanks for you help in advance

Dozers hives are about the size of a nickel and look like raised up bumpy hair, I always say he looks like a bumpy brown sheep! Sometimes on his white bits they are red bumps that look kind of like mosquito bites. They go away after a few hours and then come back again.
