Bug Spray?

I like to take sasha to the lake so she can swim and run around. But the nates and horse fly are really atracted to her gential areas and it really seem to bother her alot. Does anyone know if you can spray off on them just alittle or if they make a bug deterant for dogs. Any information would be great.

We had bad mosquitos last year. I used an Organic Neem Spray. I'm not sure if it helped a hell of alot but I think it helped some.

Petsmart carries a product called Mosquito Halt that is supposed to protect dogs from mosquitoes, flies, and gnats. It can also be used on surfaces including pet bedding. I don't know anything about it or how safe it is. I was researching the same topic on the internet and found it. Rolen has problems with reactions to bug bites, so I am trying to figure out something for him.
