Well first of all I hope the mods here willl let this thread stand as I don't recall anyone else posting one like this.Bud was my dearly departed Fathers bird that he caught in his back yard I still remember the day he called and told me he caught it he was so excited as he had been trying for several days prior. My father has been gone now 13 years and shortly after he passed away Bud got sick and we took him in to see a bird specialist and she thought he was around 15 years old then so doing the math that puts him around 30 years old.I will truly miss his morning wake up call and chirping at the birds outside when we had the windows open in the house or whenever someone would put toast in the toaster and it would pop up he would just break out into a loud shrill chirp as he knew and everyone else did to that if you made toast you had to give him some. I know this may sound silly to some people but he was the last thing We had that belonged to my dearly departed Father. I hope wherever you are Bud I hope you are flying free and there is a toaster close by. lots of love MoM and DaD
