Whenever I brush Herkie, it turns into an event because he must scoot as close to me as possible, making it very hard for me to give him a thorough brushing. I'll scoot him forward, and he scoots back. I try to stand him up and out a little, he sits down and scoots back! My little man! What do ya'lls boxers do?

Benningotn is convinced that the brush is a toy! Everytime I try to brush him he tries to grab the brush and run off with it :)

Napoleon is the same way, he also has to have his paw on top of your hand.
Which makes it really hard to brush his back. If I take his paw off, he whines, it is so funny. It is like he is afraid I will stop if he takes his paw off.

Gotta Love Em!

Roxy has always thought brushing was a game, I have to chase after her just to brush her. She runs all over the house doing the butt-tuck. Bailey is catching on to this as well. I have to get them while they're begging for food.

I can brush razz and she loves it. She'll pick up each front foot at a specific time so I can get her armpits and belly really good.

not much brushing going on at my house! I usually end up just giving up! LOL Adam thinks the brush is a toy and Evie acts like being brushed is pure torture! Silly dogs anyway :D

Coco wants to eat her brush. We really have to work on her grooming manners a little bit. :)

Sounds like Daisy :)

Albert is just a big ol' goofball who takes it as an opportunity to maul you with love and kisses.

I don't need to brush them anyway, as soon as they get in my car all of their excess hair jumps off and fills the little cracks and crevices

Hahahaha this is us, between work pants, hands & sleeves, carpet and beds - who needs a brush?

Sugar & Ray love to be brushed, the only problem is that there are two of them and one brush. I have to get them to lay down, one on either side, then brush the one and pet the other, then change over. Boy and don't you dare stop or they will move in on top of you looking at you with a " why did you stop " look :D
