Boxer Babies
Super Boxer
good to hear
Hi Kelly,
great to hear your boy is doing well.
I forgot to mention in my lst post to be prepared for when the leg comes out of the cast. I know that we freaked right out!
When Thais leg came out of the cast he could barely walk on it for a few days, He would just drag it behing him. Because the muscles havent worked for a while the deteriorate.
He also had sores all over his leg from the cast, and with him constantly growing made things worse. I know when I picked him up from the vet I was nearly crying, so please be prepared and dont freak out too much, it looks a lot worse than it actually is.
If your vet doesnt tell you, by some savlon cream from the supermarket and rub it into his leg every day, gentle massaging the muscles too. This helps the circulation to return to the muscles and will assist with repair.
Good luck and good thoughts from Thai and Blayz
