I think it's up to the individual and how much time you have and whats good for both you and your fur baby sounds like your ready I waited until Sadie was around a year an 1/2 I to want another one I have to wait two is plenty

Update on When is the right time?

Saturday I am going to go look at a 9 week old Male Flashy Brindle that is just so sweet and adorable looking by the photo's that I am just torn. I know if I go see him that more than likely he is coming home with me.

Here's a little update to my previous post.

I guess the decision has been made for me that I will NOT be bringing Samantha home a little brother tomorrow and my heart is just broke and have cried all afternoon.

I called today to confirm and the lady said that her husband and her did not communicate very well and that her husband sold him last night and he went to a new home and it is NOT MINE.:(

I just could not wait for tomorrow to arrive because the pictures were so adorable and his markings were identical to my Samantha's except he was Brindle and you know sometimes in your heart just by a photo that it is "The One" and I even had a name picked out.

So I just wanted to update you all and I guess the time is just not right then.

Maybe this was an eye opener but I am still very sad.

Wow! That shocks me that that could happen! That must be really hard for you to accept, especially after picking out her name and everything.
Just keep in mind that not everyone is like those people and there is another little guy out there just waiting for a great loving home with you.
