Brody hiding in the shade, "hard" day hiking!

So we went to Oak Mountain State Park today and took one of the shorter trails to what suppose to be a waterfall, more like a trickle due to no rain and high heat... Anyways we decided to stop and rest when we got there and Brody took the opportunity to relax/hide in the shade.

Brody has gotten BIG! And is very handsome!

I miss hiking with Arabella! We used to live near Shenadoah Nat'l Park. Now we're in KS. All the paths around here have been paved with black top and termed "multi-use" for cyclers. That is too much heat for my pup. And the one trail we did have they stopped allowing dogs on.
