Let me start by saying that I love dogs, always have and always will.
My wife and I rescued a 7 month old dog two years ago named Brinx. He is fabulous. We have recently come to the decision that we must give him up as circumstances have arisen that keeps us away from home most of the time. It isn't fair for him to be home alone so much and we feel as though it will be better for him to have a home that he will get the attention that he needs.

It isn't because of lack of Love or loss of interest, we just do not have the time that he needs to put into playing and keeping him content. We have given him up to boxer rescue and I pray that he will find a home where he gets the attention that he needs. He is one of my best friends and I love him to death.....Brinx, my pal, you will be sadly and dearly missed my friend.....

Love always,

Dad....please forgive me my friend....

This was a hard decision I am sure. It is one that I hope and pray I never have to make. I think it is very honorable of you to send him to rescue where you know they will care for him and find him a good home instead of putting an add in the paper and having every Dick and Jane off the street calling for the gorgeous boy. I hope you find peace in the fact that you made the best decision possible for you and your family.

God Bless Brinx and good luck finding a new home big man!

It takes a big person to know what is good and what is not. I am sure it was a every hard decision to make on your part. I will pray that your baby finds a wonderful home.

I can't imagine how hard it must be. At least you know in your heart it is for the best, many people would let their dog suffer being alone rather than give them a chance to get all the attention they need. That shows how much you love him and he will remember that.

Must be tough to give up your "kid". Thanks for choosing a boxer rescue so they can find some new adoptive parents.

Uughhh! I cant imagine how hard this must be for you. But if you are truly unable to give him all that he needs to be happy then it is a decision made out of love. I hope your boy finds his forever home very soon through the rescue organization.

I bet this was the hardest thing you have ever had to do. I cant imagine giving up my boy no matter what. I hope he will find his forever home through boxer rescue.

So yesterday was the day that I was to let my boy go. I met his ride about an hour away from home. He is moving 6 hours away from me. I was so sad when he left I couldn't help but bawl my eyes out. I've never had to let such a great friend go before.

That being said, I was emailed by his rescue co-ordinator and I guess he made it up there just fine and is happy. He has been getting attention and got to play for 2 hrs yesterday. He is going to do fine i'm sure, much better than I am. Thanks everyone for your support.....It was a sad sad day.....
