boxers shedding compard to a lab or rottie?

My Brindle doesn't shed as much as my fawn, but that could be because the colors are less noticeable. I used to have a lab and the shedding isn't nearly as bad with a boxer as it is with a lab. We used to have to vacuum the floor every day with our lab (sometimes we'd even vacuum him).

Sirus doesn't shed too much. My parents have two Labs and they shed much worse than Sirus. Sirus' hair is very noticable since it's white...so people always assume that he sheds constantly...which is not the case.

Well I must be the exception here because I have a lab and a boxer and I find the boxer sheds more! Maybe it is because the lab is still a pup, I don't know, but I find boxer hairs everywhere!

Two boxers - Abby hardly sheds at all. If you have something that will pick up hair easliy, then you are in for it if you are all over her hugging and petting.

Wilson sheds like crazy. We will sweep and vacum. Two days later we have piles, and I am not joking. PILES!

His hair is about twice the length of Abby's though.

J.C. hardly sheds at all. I notice a few hairs here and there and some when I brush him but that's about it. His hair is VERY short though which might have something to do with it. I'm actually sort of jealous because I lose more hair than HE does! :eek:

We have a really light carpet color too, and very little shedding issue (a lot worse with the cats than the dog). I also noticed that Jazz' hair being really fine, does not stick to things and is not oily like a Lab's.

Bugzy sheds quite a bit but my last boxer never shed until he got mange. So once again I guess it just depends on the dog.
