boxers shedding compard to a lab or rottie?

I have not been around rotties but IMHO labs shed waaaaay more than boxers. Abby (fawn) sheds as in you notice some small hairs on clothing or the car seat but it is very minimal.

We have both a black lab and a (fawn) boxer and I can assure you the lab sheds way way way more!! I have hardwood floors and the hair blows around like tumble weed! The boxer sheds, but the hairs are so tiny that its not too bad. I had a chocolate lab whose hair wasn't as bad as the black lab's hair, but still not great.

Rotties shed way more than boxers. Our old Rott would make the carpet completely black in a day while she was shedding.

The boxers shed less than the labs or rottis - they have far less hair to begin with (as they are basically indoor dogs). The labs and rottis have coats to sustain them in cold weather and cold water, and can live quite contentedly outside - which of course they discard in the summer. But don't get me wrong - Boxers too, shed (after all it's nature's way). With any dog or cat, you will quickly learn that wearing black is not easy without having a few tell-tale signs. And if it's made of wool and black - you're really a sucker for punishment. Dogs hair (in any breed), just like people's hair, is an individual trait. Some have lots, others have less; some is fine, others is coarse (which tends to show up more). Regardless of the breed, you will find yourself vaccumming far more often with any pet in your home.

Until now we have always had labs. I used to feel so guilty when someone would be vigorously petting or scratching them cause I knew how much my labs loved it but I just cringed seeing all the hair flying or landing in a pile on the floor. No matter how much I brushed them or vacuumed there were always little "hair bunnies" rolling across the floor.
The major difference now having a boxer is that I can usually get away with just the lint roller everyday instead of the roller, brush, vacuum trio with my labs. I saw your other post re: preferences between a lab/rottie or boxer. I couldn't even answer due to my love for my labs and now my boxer. I will say my boxer is MUCH more animated tho.
They are both such wonderful, intelligent and faithful breeds. I don't envy your decision at all. Good luck

Max doesn't shed too bad, but we brush him almost of everyday. I only bath him about once every two to three months, as he never has a doggy smell. I don't know I will put this out will they shed less if they are bathe more?

Asia only sheds on things that she lays on - the backseat of my car is rediculous! I dont know about my couch becuase it's the color of her hair kind of ...

Xena sheds a bit but it is not as noticeable than Spirit's! Probably because Spirit is brindle and the hair is more noticeable on the carpet! I find that if you brush them often, the shedding is very minimal!
My brothers rotties shed BIG TIME and it is soooo noticeable! Clumps of hair blows across his floors and if you pet them, the hair comes off in bunches!
My dobbies were much like my boxers. Shed a bit but hardly noticeable. However, the dander is much more noticeable on a dobbie than a boxer!

I have both, and they shed about the same; however, lab hair is longer and thicker than boxer hair, so it's more noticeable when they shed!

I can't speak to the shedding of Labs or Rots, but our Boxers shed a decent amount. Lolli, whose hair is about twice as long as Auggie's, sheds a lot more than Auggie. We sweep the hardwood floors about once a week and there are mounds of hair. It is definitely a misconception that Boxers don't shed.
