Hi there,
I am new to the Boxer Forum World, but not new to the Boxer world. I am apart of a beautiful family of 5. We currently reside in Colorado. We adopted a boxer a few years ago. Her name was "Lady". She was 8 years old when we adopted her. She passed away when she was 14 years old. We as a family have found ourselves ready for another boxer in our lives. It took us quite awhile to let go of the pain from our loss but we're ready to move on. I joined this forum to read about potty training, to learn new things, to feel the connection with boxer families again. So, here I am. Relaying what I learn to the other 4 other members of my family. Thank you for letting me learn from every word you type. We're looking to get a boxer in the next few months and are extremely excited about it. Let the learning begin.

BrodieBoxer,
Yes, Lady was 14. I can't take all the credit for her long life. We got her midlife. However, I work in veterinary medicine so when I took over care for her I like to think her great care was carried over. She did get a few tumors on her feet and legs but she chewed a few of the smaller ones off.

Lady was an awesome dog. We miss her greatly. She had the Boxer stare and the crazies everyone talks about even at 14 years old. She was just like her name a "Lady".
