boxer that points with paw?

is she be part pointer? or is it just a weid habit? mostly when outside and she spots something she picks up her left paw and holds it up in the air(dose not happen every time).He father is 5 generation AKC her mother is from unknown breeding vet said she was pure breed no dna testing was done so high energy she was crazy I walked that dog with a pack for 2+hours and she still kept going, not one to stop, but other then that was your normal boxer allergys and all.

Pointing is something all dogs naturally do when they see movement. Pointers are usually trained to have a more refined point. Clemmy points all the time.

Look at the top of this page above the words Photo Gallery and you will see a boxer pointing. A lot of them do it. I think it is something instinctual to all dogs. Something akin to a runner being in the "set" position and being ready to take off after some kind of "prey".

I never noticed that till you pointed it out.she is my first dog so I didn't know dogs tend to point at stuff .I help train service dogs but they are working so ive never seen them point.
