I'm not sure exactly how old he is, but probably was a pup or still wet behind the ears in 2001. Just imo.. It was a good show though! I was so hoping Derrick would go BIS! Oh well, we can hope!

He is 4 yrs old & a beauty. I was so hoping he would go BIS....

Well if Ron Reagan was talking about a dog that his mom got shortly after the former president died.. it's a recent show considering he just died a couple months ago.

It's a shame the Boxer baby didn't take BIS. I long for the day.... :D

The information on the cable guide was WRONG. According to the Animal Planet website the show is from this year. In fact the cable guide NOW says it is from 2004. I know they rerun these shows over and over but not usually one THAT old. Sorry for any confusion. It just goes to show you, don't believe everything you read.:mad:

Derrick was robbed! I thought it wold be to his benefit if the judge was experienced with boxers, but apparently it didn't work out that way. I'm tired of the poodles always winning BIS (or the toy group in general). When we saw the final 7 come to the ring (we missed the other six groups) and saw the poodle, Hubby said, "There's your winner - they always win." Too bad he was right.

Derek's about 4 years old, I'd guess. My George was Best Senior in Sweeps to his Best Junior in Sweeps back in December 2000 at a huge show in Boston -- I think Derek was just barely 6 months old at the time. And he beat us for Grand Sweeps
