Boxer Showers

The first time Capone did that I nearly had a heart attack! I live alone and all of a sudden the curtain whips open. I thought someone was going to kill me! Now that I know it is him though, I think it is cute how he has to peak in just to make sure I didn't sneak out the window. lovicon I think he likes to lick the extra water off the sides of the tub too.

Coco insists on showering with anyone who's in there. We have sliding doors on our shower but she can get them open so it doesn't matter whether you close those or not. She sticks her head in to watch I suppose and then wants to lick the water off everything..so weird! She will jump right in if you let her...she loves the shower. I don't mind the company because I have small kids so I haven't had a moment alone in my bathroom for years anyway! I forgot what it was like!

I take Charlie into the shower with me and give her a bath. It is by far the easiest way to keep her clean.

I completely agree! There is no easier wat to bathe a boxer. If I try to give Petie a bath I get just as wet as if I did take a shower!
Plus, both of our boxers love to lick our legs after we shower- or while either of us are showering! It is sooo funny!

Hah! You have it easy.. Cin will drink the water from the shower, or bathtub..and when shes in there with me when i go pee and the neighbours turn on the shower...shell hear the noises and look up at ours waiting. Actually even if she doesnt hear the noise...she'll sit there watching the shower waiting for it to come out so she can play.

I do have to get inthe tub with her when I bathe her though..bathing suit and all :D

Both of my boys are ankle lickers and will not leave me alone when I'm in the bathroom. I take a lot of bubble baths and Beau constantly tries to drink the water. He tried to eat a bar of soap the other day (very gross). I put bubbles on his nose and he goes cross eyed trying to get them off. I gave up closing the bathroom door when he and Bailey joined up to try to scratch it down. I just had to come to term with the fact that I gave up privacy when I became a mommy.

Cosmo pokes his head in the shower and drinks the runnig water. He used to do it alot, but now he doesn't do it as much.

TUG has been doing this ankle-leg licking thing since I got here. I asked our trainer and she said its cuz your smell is washed off and she wants to put her smell back on you. Dont know if its true, but hey it sounds good.

She has even went so far when I have shut her out of bathroom to wake my hubby when I was showering. She bounced right on him and whined. Like I was drowning or something.

Dont want to tell you about when I take a bath. Nothing like a 5 1/2 month boxer in the tub with you!

Since we got Dalton I have always showered with the bathroom door open when no one else is home so that he can come check on me and know that he is not home alone. He also loves to stick his head in the shower and lick my legs and the tub walls. Sometimes he just likes to put his face in the water....not really sure why. Then after his face is wet he rubs it all over the curtain, to dry it off I assume. Lately he has started peeking around every curtain in the house (the window curtains, the sliding glass door curtains). Maybe he thinks that he will find mommy showering behind every curtain....silly boy!
