The good days are so good that they outweigh the bad days

It just makes my heart sing to hear my babies are doing well.
Here are a couple of examples:
1. The last foster baby, Buster, I only had him for 4 days. We found the most perfect adoptive home so quickly. He was the sweetest, most well behaved 9mo's old baby you have ever seen. We do something called "test drives" or temporary custody. Gives the people 12-48hrs to see if it is going to work. Anyhow, I called them after the 48hrs. and the lady basically said "You are going to have to pry him out of my cold dead fingers to get him back!" :D They said he was everything they ever wanted in a dog and didnt know. Talk about warm fuzzies!
2. One of the puppies from that litter that came in last oct was being babysat by one of the other rescue members. She was the runt of the litter and my personal favorite. He said she is so very happy and well behaved (much better behaved than her littermate, Drake - my puppy

) He said she even brought his 5yr foster boy (Winston, super laid back) out of his shell and had him acting like a little puppy again.
3. Another puppy from that litter was adopted by a family that had adopted a 10mo's old from us, This puppy though was the pudge bucket of the litter. They said her (Porcha) and the 10mo's old (Boxter) are the best of buddies, and she works very hard at keeping Boxter in line. Also she has become daddies little girl and just loves him. Daddy was not a big boxer fan to begin with, but is now so in love with little Porcha, they now want to work for our rescue.......they want other people to share such love and joy as they have.
Things like those above are what help us keep going!
Also, if anyone adopted a boxer from a rescue, I want to challenge you to take a moment and send them a note about how wonderful it is with your adopted baby. We
NEED this!! You will be making a whole slew of people very very happy! :D
