on a previous thread we're were talking about being stalked by boxer lovers and also doing the stalking and that got me to wondering...how many other quirky traits do we (boxer owners) share?

For example we (my boyfriend and I):

-Talk about our baby constantly, we find a way to bring him into any topic of conversation.

-found out that he has become the only target of our camera lens.

-stalk other boxers and boxer owners.

-have sacraficed our queen size bed to our furbaby.

-have embarked on a never ending search for dog friendly places everywhere.

-are closing to declaring bankruptcy because of his ever increasing toy box.

-rush home just to see his beautiful little face and waggy butt.

So here are some of the little things we do for our little prince kingicon . Let use know what you do for your furbabies.

I'm in my early 20's and I find myself telling my friends I can't go out with them because I don't want to leave Tyson. I'll only go if I can take him or find a sitter for him. I'm so pathentic. And even when I do go out, all I talk about is Tyson. Who knew I would ruin my social life when I got a puppy?

Tyson also has full rank in the bed and the covers. I'll wake up in the morning freezing because he's taken the ones he wants and kicked the others off the bed.

I also have no trouble using a whole roll of film on him. And the toys I buy him, oh my! It takes longer to pick up all the toys to vaccum then it actually takes to sweep.

I think one thing all boxer owners have in common is that they'll do anything for their babies.

It really is a relief to know that there are others out there like my husband and I. Our little guy is such a joy in our lives!!!

Casey is going in next week for nuturing. I am a bit worried as he has a testicle that hasn't descinded and it means they have go in and try to find it. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers next week.

No matter how drunk I was the night before or how late I went to bed, I get up and let Krose out. Neighbors have seen me in all of my ugly faces and clothes:D
Me and hubby talk in a different voice as if talking to our boy when we talk about our baby in public. We get weird looking faces I tell ya!!! :D
Make a scene when a person sitting next to us in a cafe tells us to ''move our dog'' although it is a dog friendly place. Baris often tells them ''you move your butt'' :D
Accepted the fact that we are nature napkins:D
Burping, gassing.... ordinary life:D
Have become paranoid parents everytime Krose coughs or makes a weird sound, out heartbeat tops the ceiling!!!! :D
We don't care if we're dressed nice or not, if we see a boxer, we stop and pet and get slobbery boxer kisses:D

I am sure there is more, I just can't think of more right now;)

   I am laughing so hard right now because everything that has been said I see in me and my boyfriend. We all really do go the extra mile for our babies.

Kareng, Casey will be in my thoughts I'm positive everything will be alright. A puppy I had when I was younger had that and he was fine the day after ready to play again.

Completely Boxer Crazy
So far everything mentioned matches me. How about when talking to friends about their toddler to is so easy to say, "Jesse is the same way" LOL. I hope they don't get offended.

Definately agree with everything that has been said. The digital camera has never seen so much use since we got Rocky. I think all of my friends and co-workers are sick of seeing his pictures all of the time. My husband and I wish that more places were "pet friendly" so we can take him everywhere! When we're out somewhere, I feel like we need to rush home so he's not in his crate very long...even though he likes his crate.

I'm not a "child person" and everyone that knows me knows that; never have been. I don't dislike them, just don't have any of my own and really have never wanted any. Other people's kids are OK, mostly because you can play with them and then they go away.

So anyway..........

When it comes to fur kids, what can I say - I have 4 so that says a lot right there. I'm definitely an animal person.

One thing that always bothered me about people and their children was how they went on and on and on about them, telling every little thing their child did last night, showing all kinds of pics, yada, yada, yada.

Yup, you guessed it. Just like so many of the previous posts, I'm one of those that probably drive people nuts with the pictures and endless stories. Yes, my "kids" are in most of my conversations.

They are my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!!

Let's see, crazy boxer owners. I have succumbed to the stalking so many times I could not possiblysay, I have even gotten off a bus when it wasn't my stop simply to follow the boxers and owner down the street and try and strike up a conversation.

I find myself telling my 'cute' boxer stories to all my friends (none of whom have yet felt the boxer-urge) and having the subject changed after I rant for 15 minutes.

I have completely altered my entire social existence and all know that I have to be at home at strict times for walking, feeding, saying goodnight, etc, etc, etc.

I have growled myself at people who attempt to imply that my beautiful boxers are ugly, slobbery dogs (I don't live in a very dog-friendly country at the moment).

What can I say, I'm a nut!
