Boxer Insane
This was actually something I was wondering about. I have to start looking for something in the next few months, and it sounds like I might be best off with a mini-van. Two car seats plus us plus Cash - I'm probably going to be best off with a mini-van for sure! Especially when you consider that I'll more than likely end up with a playmate for Cash at some point. ;)

We have an older model Mitsubishi Pajero, and this is our dogmobile,Waldo can stretch right out on the back seat on his blanket, and usually falls asleep with his head on the armrest,I'm amazed the angle doesn't give him a stiff neck,he seems to love the vibration under his face, the lips they're a quivering......

I just retired my Izusu Rodeo which worked really well for Bosco and bought a Mitsubishi Endeavor which I LOVE. both cars have been good for him because he can have the whole back seat to lay down on and I can throw his cage in the cargo area without taking it apart for long trips. The endeavor is more roomey but I would recomend both.

We have an Expedition, and Terra loves it. There's plenty of room for her to walk around in it, but she usually sits in the front with me. When my husband's driving she sits on my lap (yes, she's heavy, she's 80 lbs, but I love it!).

We have a Chevy Equinox. Its great! We can fit Abbie's crate in the trunk without having to fold the back seats down. Its an SUV but kind of reminds me of an mini van.

I have an Explorer and Chance just loves it because he owns the enitre back seat. When I first got it he was a little unsure and wouldn't get in by himself,he needed a boost. I've had it now about 6 months and he gets in and out like a pro :).

We have a Nissan Xterra. The rear seat (60/40 split) fold completely flat & the actual seat portion can actually be rEmoved so you don't need to worry about them getting nasty. Also what is really nice is the cargo area & back of the rear seats are a heavy duty plastic type material, I just thow a rubber backed rug (so the chitlins have some traction) down so when they're dirty (like after leaving the muddy park today) I don't have to worry about the upholstry.

Blizzy rode around in my Dodge Durango and then we got the GMC Envoy Denali XL..Carson and Echo fit nicely in the back of the Envoy. Come June 08 its time to give back the Envoy..I'm thinking BIGGER now.. maybe a Yukon Denali next..hummm..thats an idea. Even though we are a skin family of 4 and a 2 dog family, we need at least a 7 seater! My older dtr never has just one friend thats coming with us..its at least 2...need a 7+ seater now

And I much prefer leather seats w/dogs than cloth..sooo much easier to clean dirt/grime/slobber etc. The cloth seats just soaked up all that and got stinky!

We have a Mitsubishi Outlander ,they like to be in the back on a big blankie, but the back of the rear seats is a fur magnet, it will never come out. We also have a Honda Accord and they like that better when it's just them and mom. It's leather but I have some blankies in there in case it gets too hot (California ;) ) Diesel likes to sit in front and rest his head on my lap while I drive. :)

Completely Boxer Crazy
OMG they have cars in england??? Mini vans are good, that is what the DW wants. I would prefer a SUV of some sorts, but I think we will settle for a van.
