"Boxer" dog toy

i don't know if you have all already seen it, but PetSmart has a line of toys that are all different breeds of dogs. One is a boxer! They are plush, but stretchy (they are REALLY elongated and are great for tug of war), and have a squeaker and a rattle in them. I went the other night and got Mac 4 new toys, the boxer, a duck, a pig and a deer. He plays wiht all of them, but LOVES to have me play tug of war with the boxer, AND when we got in bed last night...guess what came with us???:D

Anyway, my BF thinks it is weird to let Mac play with a Boxer toy, but I think it is adorable and thought you all might be interested

This boxer dog bungee was one of the first toys Roxy got attached to as a pup. I got one for her when she was about 6 months old and that thing is her baby. This toy is Roxy's prized posession. She still sleeps with whats left of it...a head with a scrap of fur attached. Its kindof strange because just when I think she has forgotten about it, I turn around and shes carrying it around with her. I just dont have the heart to get rid of this little brown scrap of fur since she loves it so much.

Yes, Beau had one of these when he was a puppy, too. It didn't really last that long! I got it for him for Christmas, he was 6 mos. old and loved to play tug of war with it, but unfortunately for that toy, Beau won...

We got the Boxer bungee for Roscoe's first birthday last year, August 2002 and it is still with us in about 90% shape. He loves to play with it and it is still one of his favorites. The only real damage is that he quickly chewed off the vinyl nose, but I just sewed it closed and it is great!
