My boyfriend and I are the proud parents of our second boxer baby. Our first was an adoption from a shelter, and had to be put down after only 6 mths with us due to seizures. Our newest baby is actually a 1 1/2 old little girl that we "inherited" from someone who wasn't prepared for the Boxer ways, and knew we had suffered a loss. As soon as money and space permits, we plan on adopting more little ones.

We have recently relocated to the Charleston, SC area, and would love to meet other Boxer lovers. I have volunteered with the Carolina Boxer rescue, but no reply, yet. Please contact me if anyone knows of any clubs, or anything in my area.

Hello and welcome to the BoxerBoard! How unfortunate that you had to put your dog down after such a short time with him. I hope all is well with the new little girl for you.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Our new little girl, actually not too new since we have had her for about 7 mths, is great. She is into everything!!

Thanks Matt for the listing of clubs. I have looked all over the internet and yet to find anything closer than a 6hr+ drive. I know there have to be people with Boxers in the area....anyone want to start a club??

I am going to try to post pictures of both our little boy that we lost too soon, and our girl.
