Bow Wow Birthday Cake

thank you! Gunther's 1st birthday is coming up and I wanted to have a little party for him. Now he will have a cake, too!

I made the cake for my Trinity's 2nd birthday. She loved it. Thanks for the recipe. I sliced it for her, but she wouldn't eat it. I crumbled it up and she ate it up. She is just a little bit spoiled. Our dog Shrek also liked it. We were going to share with some family dog cousins, but my two babies ate it all.

Has anyone dog ever gotten diarreha from this recipe? I want to make a cake for Pimps b-day however i don't knwo how his stomach will handle it.

Gunther's bow-wow birthday cake last year was shared by him and his two guests. All enjoyed the cake. The pieces I gave them were relatively small as I had left over cake. I gave some of the cake to Gunther's babysitter to share with her dogs. She said her dogs loved it and even the cat got a piece to enjoy. There were no reports of diarreha. The portions were always small, though.

We made this cake about a month ago for Duchess's first birthday. Her and her brother LOVED it.....it smelled really good baking and I cant wait to use it next yr!

I made it for Bailey's birthday and none of the five dogs that ate it got diarrhea. They had pretty big pieces too. If you can see the cake in the pic in my gallery, there was only about a quarter left after our little party.

I made it for Pooh's birthday,all 4 of them scarfed it right up.No problems !!
They loved it,and I took some to our neighbor's dog and he is a really persnickety toy poodle. He chowed!! The neighbor's granddaughter even loved it! She is 3 and we had it on a paper towel on the table and walked away fromit for just a minute. We came back to find Brianna munching away on the cake!!! It was so funny!!

I just wanted to say thanks for the bow wow cake! I made it yesterday for my mom's lab who turned 4. They all LOVED it. It was so cute. Jade had it all over her nose.
