Boozer Boxer??

Rocky loves beer. We have to warn guests not to put down their bottle or Rocky will knock it over and finish it. We have a neighbor that loves beer as much as Rocky and thinks it is cute how much Rocky loves it. So the guy is always "sharing" with Rocky. If Rocky sees him outside he immediately runs over for a taste.

DH taught Rocky to bring wood from the pile by the shed over to the fire pit and get beer as a reward. One night Rocky brought over half the pile when no one was looking. (I made DH move it back and he did not get a reward)

Beer Monster Boxer

I'm so glad that this post came up! Zen absolutely loves beer-just like his mummy and daddy. I'm not sure about other alcohol but beer definitely. Our other dog Sumo likes to sniff it but dislikes the taste.

I think it has to do with the yeasty smell. I've noticed the same reaction from Fibber on the smell of beer or wine as when I am making bread, particularly sourdough. He loves the smell!

My dad has a bar in the basement and when he comes home from work he has a couple of beers. Well, by doing this he leaves it on the floor where it's Gizmo territory. Gizmo sees it and licks the left overs. I've told my dad that he's going to make Gizmo an alcoholic. So now he tries not to leave the cans on the floor.

Now Gizmo LOVES ice it's one of his favorite treats. Anytime he hears someone near the ice machine wherever he in the house he runs to it. It's kind of amusing seeing him sit there looking up at you with that cute face.

Coco likes alcohol too. She is like others here & will go after the beer bottle if it's left unattended. Crazy puppies!

I also can't put ice in water or any drink because he will try to take the cubes out and will sit there and stare at it until I give them to him. That drives me crazy.

I have the same exact problem with Sirus...and my parents 2 Yellow Labs! Where do they get this from?!

Beer Lover!!

My girl Clarese loves beer. When we sit out on the deck, my hubby usually smokes a cigar and drinks his beer. Well, Clarese loves cigars too. She stands on his front legs and paws at his cigar. (while lit) He let her pull it down so she can get a smell and investigate it. She put it in her mouth and licked it. She loves them. When we're in the hot-tub you have to watch your beer cause she will sneak up and start licking the can. The beer doesn't bother me, it's the can. So hubby will take it and pour it into the cup holder so she can have some. Hee Hee my little bar-fly!!! Now Kaiser, my boy doesn't care for it, he'd just rather stand on your shoulders and kiss you. If you have a beer or a cigar, you'd better watch it, my girl's coming after ya.

TUG loves BEER! She will knock over a can or when you are drinking it she will sit in front of you and whine for some. She then carries around the empty cans. Gets quite messy round here when NASCAR is on.

She also loves coffee. Will stick her face right in the mug and drink. She likes it hot too.

I hope she never become addicted to the caffine...cant imagine a boxer with a caffine withdraw headache.

Oh this is too funny. Roxy has always loved beer, but the other weekend I had a vodka tonic sitting on teh table and Bailey decided she wanted some when I wasn't looking. I walked back into the room and she was just slurping away. She couldn't get enough of it, I had to put it up where she couldn't reach it.

I am so glad to hear it's not just my Hank. He loves beer!!! He was named after Hank Williams Jr.... My Husband is in a country western band.
