Okay, guys. I hope I'm posting this in the right place, but here goes...
Boomer needs some of those wonderful healing vibes ya'll send out so well. He is currently at the vets office being observed b/c they think he might have swallowed a "foreign object". I haven't found anything missing, but the vet said he felt some tenseness when he palpitated his stomach. I guess it all started last week when DH and I had to go out of town to help his brother move. We left Friday morning and my dad came to stay with Boomer. Dad said he wouldn't eat much, but we just assumed it was b/c we weren't there, and he wasn't used to my dad. We got back Sunday around lunchtime, and there were a couple of vomit places on the kitchen floor. Dad said he must have just done it b/c he had just walked through the kitchen and it wasn't there (it was nothing but stomach bile). Well, we just thought we'd keep and eye on him, but yesterday morning, he vomited again. DH called me at work to tell me, so I called the vet to make an appt. Before we could get him there, he had vomited two more times. So, they wanted to keep him and give him something to keep him from vomiting and something to try to help him pass anything that could be in his stomach. I did NOT want to leave him, but he said he would probably use the bathroom ALOT and they wanted to be able to check the stool as it came out. He did eat a little food Sunday afternoon, and had gone potty when we got back Sunday and Dad even said he used the potty normally all weekend. So, the vet seems to think it's probably something he can pass on his own, so that's good news, right? Anyway, sorry this is a little long, but you guys are really the only ones who understand how worried I get about my furbaby. I'm going to be good for nothing until I hear some news, b/c he's all I can think about right now. We'd really appreaciate those vibes as soon as possible (or I might get fired!!!) :o
Thanks,
Whitney and Boomer
