AbbeyRoad
Boxer Booster
Abbey had been having a lot of digestive problems and we put her on chicken and sweet potato and she was back to normal after about 24 hours. If you aren't seeing any improvement after 6 days and you haven't already you should probably take her in to the vet to make sure there isn't another underlying problem. I know you said she is having eye boogers if they yellow or greenish she probably has an upper respiratory infection, even if they aren't it wouldn't hurt to take her in. Especially if you have tried chicken & rice and a different starch and protein source without any improvement.
We put Abbey on Fromm which is a 5 star food on DFA (if that matters to you) and have had great results with it and she had a really hard time on everything else we tried so if the Natural Balance doesn't work out it may be something else you might want to try. Every dog is different so what works for one may not work for another. When we tried to switch her gradually over to other foods we tried her stools would immediately begin to get softer until after 2 or 3 days when she would have full blown diarrhea. With the Fromm we switched her over a 4 day period (which is actually kind of quick you may want to do a 7 day switch starting with 1/4 new food for two days, 1/2 new food for two day, 3/4 new food for two days, and then all new food on the 7th day), her poops never started getting soft with the Fromm it was a very easy transition and really reaffirmed to me that it was the right food for her. One way or another it is pointless to switch her until they have firmed up and if they haven't so far I would take her in to make sure she hasn't picked up a bug of some sort.
