I had my Rocky on it before, it gave him the worst gas ever. Im not saying its the foods fault maybe Rockys tummy wasnt handling it very well, who knows.

We had this problem too. HORRIBLE gas, but every dog reacts to every food differently. Ingredient wise I see nothing wrong with it.

Clyde loved it. His favorite was fish & sweet potato. No gas, other than normal Boxer gas. We just recently had to switch to Natural Balance All Life Stages since he got a baby brother.

I am in the process if switching Joey to Blue buff. and he LOVES it. We have a little problem with him having some diarreha issues but his vet told me to just mix his old food with it a little longer gradually adding less and less of the old food and doing that is slowly but surely showing improvment. We havent noticed any gas problems that are out of the boxer gas norm either.

We took Bella and Troop off Canidae during their formula change last year, and put them on Nutro Ultra, it wasn't GREAT, and she let us know she didn't like it- she never ate! Probably even less than she did on Canidae. Soo! We switched them both to Blue Buffalo, and she liked it- didn't love it but certainly enjoyed it more than Canidae or Nutro Ultra. I just found "Blue Wilderness". In my PetSmart it was between Blue Buffalo and Nutro Ultra (It's made by Blue Buff). The ingredients are better than regular Blue Buffalo (less grains), and its quite pricey, but she LOVES it. In 2 bags time she's gained around 2 pounds! Slow and steady!!! appicon

Our Mia who is 6 months old has been on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy since we got her at 11 weeks. She has done very well on it and loves it. She is 50 pounds with a shiny beautiful coat. We also mix some of the canned food but it does get expensive but she is worth every penny. No gas problems.

mine did well on it the dry. i still mix in a lil wet with their kibble. I didn't notice any worse than usual gas or anything like that. Just a lil pricy, even with my discount at work. Not that they aren't worth it, just not really a good time right now.

I tried my puppy on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy after becoming a nut about reading dog food labels, and I was pretty disappointed. She is a very picky eater and seemed to dislike the BB unless I mixed it with wet or put hot water in it. Even then, she turned her nose up. Then she had diarrhea even though I was careful to introduce the new food and this has only let up and turned into loose stools after I started mixing in some pumpkin just so I could finish out the bag. The 15 lb bag is almost done and she has not improved. I won't be buying it for Ginger again, but every dog is different. On the upside, even with the upset stomach, she seemed to have more energy and get a shinier coat when I switched her over. Good luck!

My pup Millie loves it, but like others, my pup Ozzy has had gas and squishy poop. I think it's probably the food. I guess just different dogs have different reactions to foods. I'm now looking for another brand of high quality food to try.
