OK, now I know it's Milo. It's from the skin around the nail, like the cuticle I suppose... There was blood on the floor outside of his crate, we looked at his feet and there it was... Not like it's constantly bleeding. I'm thinking it's a combination of nails on the long side, tender skin, and dry cold weather.
