Blizzard!!

We are having a blizzard. The dogs were going bonkers (not to mention DH and our Grandson)..So, off they went. They went for a walk in the blizzard. They walked for about a mile and now they are in the house eating chili. Well, DH and Grandson are.

Imagine what chili would do to Max and Riley..LOL.

Now Max/Riley are out on the couch. They are way too cute. We are suppose to get 9-10" and it started by sleeting. The winds are blowing and it is just beautiful.

i'm in iowa too and its crazy here, i love the snow too but this is blowing and ice too, alot of people are without power i sure hope that don't happen here

We still have power but I could see it going out. Our family room is windows ceiling to floor and we live on a hill so it is so beautiful to look out and see the pine trees. It is beatiful outside.

I too am in Iowa, but in the southern part of the state and am just getting a lot of freezing rain and sleet right now. I let Lilly out a little bit ago and she loved sliding around the yard. She will run as fast as she can and stop suddenly, slide, and do it again!
I wish I had everyone's enthusiasm with the weather - but Im ready for spring! :0)

I'm in Wisconsin and we've got the same thing going on here- I love it!!!
(It's a great excuse to stay in, watch movies, and cuddle with the pups!)

Part of the same system...not much snow yet, mostly sleet...I'm waiting for the fun stuff! We too went for a walk in it, now they're happily chewing on their rawhides : )

Are u in Sioux Falls? I live just 75 miles south of u then. We are really getting it here. All across this area. Hope your walk was fun. My babies loved it although they don't stay out too long. It's too cold for them.

Yes, Sioux Falls...We were only out for about 10 minutes, even with their jackets & sweaters on, it was long enough for the boxer babes...Gus could have stayed out all afternoon I think! Sounds like we're only going to get between 4-8" I was hoping for 12"+ !!

It's doing the same thing here! It's a good night to stay in and be off the streets. Dogs love running thru the snow though!
