Biggest Boxer?

Just out of curiosity how much did the biggest boxer you know weigh? At maturity. Was it male or female? How much did your boxers weigh at maturity?
Cherokee is just a little over one she weighs 51lbs. She's a very leggy boxer, I'm not sure if she's reached her max since she's my first. I kinda like her as she is now but will love her any way she is. I have been reading posts of boxers over 125 is that normal?

Loke is almost 4 and in September she weighed 78 pounds and I was told she needed to lose 5 pounds at least. :eek: I'm not sure how heavy she is now but I can see that she has lost some of her fat. It was all after I got her spayed last March. A friend and I went walking one day around the post in Hawaii and we were within sight of the house when Loke just plopped down, she wouldn't move and I knew it was time to get her slimmed down for good! ANd the vet just confirmed it soon after. I would guess she is not over 70 pounds now. We have a big yard and she does her marathon runs around it. :p

But back in 95 before I got married a friend had a male brindle boxer and he was HUGE!!! He could've been 100 or more but I doubt it. I know he was over weight whatever his weight was.

My Cooper is a big'en

Cooper is 3 1/2 y/o and weighs between 95-98 lbs
He is a big boy. Out of the litter of 11 he was the smallest one, that is why I got him, I did not expect he would end up SO BIG.
the vet has had me in a panic for years about his weight, we have been on the hills science diet r/d for over 2 yrs and he's only lost 5 lbs the vet finally gave up and said that it's just the way he is and will be. We've done thyroid test every year and they always come back just fine.
I have stayed in touch with his breeder and we share the same vet and the vet told her how big he was and then she really got courious and called me and wanted to see him and she was in shock!:eek: she could NOT believe he came from her litter his parents are pretty normal size.
When we go on our walks women pick up their kids or stand in front of their strollers waiting for us to go by, they act like he's gonna eat the kids or something and then other people stop me and tell me how kool he is and then ask if he's a mastiff or the Turner and Hooch dog (cuz Coop is usually slobbering all over the place)

I am a 3 day old newbie to BW and I am still trying to figure everything out here, but I will let you know when I take the time to figure out how to post the dang things, I am sure it is easy but been busy with finals this week I will try and get it done over the weekend.

Ozzy will be turning 8 months on the 29th and he weight in at a little over 55 lbs. He is still very lean so I'm waitinh until he's done growing up and starts growing out!

Nino is 96 lbs. Both of his parents were big but I really think I feed him tooooo much. He just loves to eat and I have a real hard time saying No. I've tried to cut him back and only cook him a steak for his birthday and sugar cookies at Christmas Now I try to give him alot of greenbeans or grapes when I'm eating something and he's happy with that but the weight isn't going down. Its a good thing he's pretty active or I don't know what would happen.........

My Aunt's boxer (Jessie) is a tiny too. I'm not sure what her weight is. My Lacey looks good at 70lbs. Right now she's a bit over weight. Lacey and I both need to work on our weight...
It's been a long winter.
My Loki was a gorgeous fawn, black mask, floppy and docked. He always weighed around 90lbs. I had people asking me if he was a mastiff too! I have never seen a boxer that weighed 125lbs. That would be one BIG boxer.
They are so full of energy when they are young. After a couple of years my dogs calmed down some and it seemed like they put on more weight.

hi naz will be 2 in june and he weghs 78lbs. IM curious cause everyone we meet say hes hugh but looking at the other weights for males he doesnt seem that big. WHEN DO BOXERS STOP GROWING?

My understanding........

is that they stop growing in their 2's unless of course they are growing overweight and that they mature and start "growing hair on their chest" at the age of 3
