Best Cleaning Solution?

I hope some can help me out with this question. What is a good solution in getting the pee, stink, and stains out of the carpet?

simple solutions has a pretty good product. it is available at most pet stores. if you want to go a more natural route, white vinegar does a good job too.

The VERY best thing is to get industrial strength bacterial culture enzyme from a local janitorial supply. Nature's Miracle is a bacterial culture enzyme, but not industrial strength. Nature's Miracle can be purchased at most pet stores and is good for little accidents that are cleaned up immediately. If you have something that wasn't cleaned immediately and possible soaked down into the carpet padding, the industrial strength product is best. Their is a company on the web called Just Rite that sells the industrial strength stuff. They have a lot of online info on cleaning up pet urine and will also field your questions over the phone.

Another vote for Nature's Miracle! It's absolutely wonderful as a stain, stench remover and it discourages them from urinating in the same area again.

For stains ONLY (not stench or disinfecting), oxy-clean works miracles. (I got red wine out of a white pillow cushion and very stubborn, remaining potty stains out of my carpet.)

NM is an absolute must for puppies.

This stuff is wonderful!!! However, make sure you do a test on an out of the way section of the carpet. It can make the carpet (in my case, a very nice, expensive wool rug) with a dark spot. Otherwise, it is a life saver!!

Natures Miracle has changed there ingredents. not as good any more. I use X-tract it has a great scent and neutralizes the oder from urine. it is also safe for steam cleaners which is a great item to have with animals.

I haven't had a lot of luck with Nature's Miracle. We have a Boston that will poo on the carpet in the same room as the friggin dog door. Nature's miracle does work great for getting muddy paw prints off my sofa, but I'm thinking about trying that industrial stuff.
