Believe it or not! South Louisiana has snow

We had snow flurries yesterday and more expected today. I have never known it to snow on Christmas or Christmas Eve in my lifetime. You can imagine the excitement in this area. It may not be staying on the ground, but it is still snow swirling around and hitting your face. It is very rare here to even have snow, but on Christmas next to impossible.

That is an unusual place to see much in the way of snow, and at Christmas...Wow, I bet it is thrilling!

I love snow. We haven't had any yet this year...and the chances of seeing any today are pretty much a big zero.

How fun! and I know how you feel, too!!

Wednesday morning when we got up to go to my hometown, it was snowing. Then last night at my hometown, a winter storm blew through and we got some more snow ... it was incredible! It was the first time in almost a hundred years (I think that's what I heard - I am from near Victoria, TX)!

Snow is always a nice Christmas surprise. We just got back home and there is a thin blanket of snow on the ground...we're guessing it snowed this morning !
