I always talk to Millie in special made up Boxer speak...sometimes even my husband dosn't understand,.... we have our own made up language ...but translated It usually goes,..'See ya very later bubba, mummy loves you special much little one'...she gets in her bed, I give her a jam tart, and a big smoochy lipstick kiss on her head, and tell her to wear mummy's kiss on till I get back...she always looks so sad, and has got the big heaving sigh down to a fine art, (designed to make me feel guilty!).. When I get in It's the silly made up song routine, accompanied, with snorting, snot, and slobber
Do you know, reading what I've just posted, I really am begining to think I'm losing It...but I don't care!!!!

I think they know I really dont work that much. Especially when our rescue group has pet fairs and I come home smelling like 10 rescues plus every other dog that I pet!

I always kneel down to his level and look straight into his eyes. Then I say, "mommy loves you. Be good and I will be back soon. Love ya," and then I give his a kiss between the eyes. After that I give him a hug and then stand up, pat his head, and leave.

I walk up to Kanin and squat down. I hold his head in both of my hands and kiss him on the nose 3 times. I say, "Mommy loves you, baby. Have a good day and I will see you after work." He always puts his fromt paws up on each of my shoulders, then gives me a kiss back. It is so hard to leave him everyday and go to work. Those big brown eyes just look so sad.

O.K. here goes and I`m serious! Hugs and kisses for all 3. Xavier goes to his crate. (He still cannot be trusted unattended) Treats for all 3, More kisses and a be good and watch the house, mama will be home as quick as she can.
Then when I get to the door I have to look back and say "MAX NO PEEING ON YOUR BROTHER!!''
Max was very naughty on several occassions while Wiggle was crated, and Max was free to roam the house, I hope that is all behind them now but, it just sorta stuck.

I do the same thing on Friday's and it made me smile when I read that I was not the only one. Also on Firday's before I leave for work I always tell her that soon we are going to have 2 whole days together!

I always kneel down and kiss Samantha on the forehead and hold her face in my hands and look into her beautiful eyes and tell her to be a Good Girl and that her Mama loves her very much and that I will see her soon.

Before I close the door and lock the screen she is already on her way to get up on the couch so she can watch me out the window.

I always give Titan a hug and a kiss and tell him momma has to go to work to make some money to buy you more toys and treats. Sometimes I see him sit at the door as I leave and I wave to him as I pull out of the drive. But when I come home every night he's sitting in the window until he sees me pull in and wave to him.
