Before you leave the house...

Just wondering what everyone else says to their babies before they leave the house on the outings that they do not get to accompany us on?

I always kneel down and kiss Samantha on the forehead and hold her face in my hands and look into her beautiful eyes and tell her to be a Good Girl and that her Mama loves her very much and that I will see her soon.

Before I close the door and lock the screen she is already on her way to get up on the couch so she can watch me out the window.

"be good girl-luv ya & watch the house!" If I forget,I back the truck up and say it-LOL...kind like a good luck ritual now.

I always say " I love you guys...And PLEASE don't tear up my house!"

I ALWAYS say, "Be good boys. Mommy loves you!"

We always say the same things:

Be Good!
No Potty!
No Chew!
Be good dogs - watch the house!

Then when we get back, we always say:

"Were you good? Let me see?"And we walk all around the parts of the house they have access to and keep saying "Let me see, let me check..."

When everything checks out, we say " GOOD JOB! GOOD JOB WATCH THE HOUSE! GOOD DOGS! GOOD DOGS GET A TREAT!"

They go berserk kidney beaning and they seem to be so proud of themselves when they do a good job.

Always..a kiss..a hug..another kiss..a "be the good girl I know you are..watch the house..protect the "babies"" (our word for the kitties)..I STILL tell my girl to watch the house and protect the "babies" and she's been physically gone for almost 3 mths..

I plan on telling double trouble (Carson & Echo) the same things..AND to tell Blizzy to protect the babies

Rogue goes in her crate with her Kong full of goodies, & as she lays down to have it, I say 'Good Girl', then as I walk out the living room I say, 'Bye Beans'.

Elvis knows when we are going out he will run onto the sofa and start droolign like a river from his chops awaiting a biscuit! I they put his head in my hands give him a kiss and say 'Sorry I have to leave you, love you little man' then he watches me leave :(

When I get home . . . Mommy missed you! Let's go potty!!!

I always say "mama loves you....be good and i'll see you in a little bit". They are kenneled so they are always good, . But still it breaks my heart to leave them:(
