Becoming parents again

DH and I will be mom and dad to a three year old dark brindle boy at the end of this month. A dear friend, in ailing health, must rehome her precious boxer boy Autry. She will be bringing him south the end of this month. I feel so very sorry for her, but am delighted to give Autry a good home. He is tolerant of cats, a real plus in this house. Autry is good with all dogs, kids and people, so he will fit in beautifully. He and Pete enjoyed each other and played well together.

The house has been too quiet and lacking energy since Petey left for the Bridge. That will soon change and I think Petey would approve.
