Thank you all so much for your wonderful words of comfort and wisdom. This is truely one of the hardest things in life we go through. It helps to have loving and caring friends helping you through times like these. Thank you all.

The emotions are still very raw and my heart is heavy. I miss my guy more than anything. Mr. B was so very special. The reality that Bax is gone I don't believe has set in yet. It's as if he is still very close by to me. It's hard to imagine I will never see him again. Right now we are going through the motions and praying that eventually our days will get brighter. We stay busy to keep our sanity. The girls are doing well and are lucky to have each other. I don't believe the reality has set in with the girls quite yet either though Lexi is beginning to realize. I think perhaps they have been waiting for him to come home.

I pray that the bridge is everything I told Baxter it would be. I pray that he understands and accepts why we let him go. I look foward to the day that we will meet again.

Last night during the candle lighting ceremony, I smiled just imagining how in awe Baxter must have been at all the light. Thanks to all who joined us. I know Mr. B must have felt overwhelmed with love.

I would have replied sooner, but just saw this for the first time today. I, too, feel like I knew the Bax. Well, he is free from pain right now and was met at the bridge by all of our babies - no doubt Titus and Jake were there, Titus to show him how to get into mischief and Jake to share a pigs ear. Godspeed, Baxter, you were truly one of the best!

I am so sorry that you all are having to go through this, but Baxter knows that what you did, you did out of your love for him. Can you imagine the wonder he felt when he was able to see again. To see you and Jason, to see the wonder that is the Bridge with Goliath and all of our babies waiting to greet him, and then the beautiful lights from all of the candles lit in his honor and in honor of those that have gone before him. What a sight for those sore old eyes. You all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers as you heal.
