So far so good His eye is not swollen and seems to be maintaining on the drops from what I can see. We don't go back to the opthamologist until October 13 so keep those vibes coming! Again, thank you all. You're the best :D

So Far, So Good

Baxter had his follow-up visit today and all the inflamation in his eyes is gone. We have been instructed to reduce the amount of the drops to one in each eye once a day for two weeks and then one in each eye 3 times a week. Next recheck will be in 6-8 weeks. Yahoo! Once again, Boxerworld vibes have come through :D

As for the eye drops, the vet said with the small amount that Baxter is on he should not suffer any long-term side effects. The vet did say that topical steroids are absorbed so you can suffer effects from them, but it depends upon the dosage and how often and for how long they are given.

I'm so thankful that he is improving. We are very hopeful that he will continue to maintain on the drops. Thanks again for all your well wishes and thoughts, we both really appreciate it

That's great new Aimee!! It's nice to know that Baxter is getting better. I'll still keep my fingers crossed that he continues to improve!! :D

I am sorry to hear about what is going on with Baxter. Rogue, Spike and I are crossing everything in hopes that he will get better very soon.
