Hi Janine~~
Sorry to hear that your little one is not feeling well. :(
I've read through the links provided for you by others and there are some great resources for helping with prevention and with the effects of chemo and other treatments.
Speaking from personal experience, I have to say that echineacia and essiac tea have proven not effective at all in the prevention and curative abilities for Cancer. Echinacea is not approved by the FDA and there have been many reports that it acts effectively moreso due to the vitamin C added to many of the preparations, (not all), than the echinacea itself, or through the bodies own ability to fight off colds, (which is what the product is marketed as; a cold preparation where there is no cure for a common cold).
Also, willow bark, (or white willow bark), is an aspirin preparation and should only be given with the advice of a qualified vet as dosages for pets are quite different than dosages for humans.
Betacarotenes are great as well but keeping in mind that vitamins A and E are fat soluable vitamins, it's good to get an exact dosage based on body weight by your vet.
And finally, garlic is a great immune system booster as well.
The raw food diets reccomended to you by others who have responded will help greatly with getting your little one back on track healthwise.
Afterall, nutrition we put in is what we can expect to get out.
There are some great reference books in the archives to get started on feeding a raw diet that would be great to check out including nutritional healing books.
I hope Roxanne is feeling great soon.
All the best.
