Well, I was asking others who were on the trip if they had ever eaten lamb. To be honest, most of them did not care for it. I hate to say it, but it scared me out of ordering it!
Actually, now I am kind of glad because I was definately not impressed with Delmonico's. For a restaurant that is owned by a famous chef, you would think that they would not overcook a steak, which is what they did to my husbands steak. He had to send it back. I ordered a pasta dish with shrimp, and was not at all impressed. :( For that price, I would have rather eaten elsewhere. I do want to try lamb, but I would rather try it somewhere that I know it will be good, and not pay a high price in case I don't care for it. Olly, why don't you just make some and overnight it to me?
